My dad is so stubborn and won’t agree to a new dog under any circumstance.

Its almost been a month since our shih-tzus passing, Lucy. She was more than a pet, literally a family member, and was almost like my child. I loved her so much and I know our whole family did as well. He refuses to get another for the damage they may cause, including the price and  potty training. I told him there’s many resources for the damage and potty training, but he won’t listen. I’m wondering that if I get the price of what a normal dog might cost, he’ll be more open to the idea since he won’t be paying for the pup. This means so much to me and I REALLY hope to convince him and make our whole family happy. We can all heal together and I think it will be a really good decision!

Having social anxiety, I believe this will really help me get outside and interact with others. I want to get more exercise and spend more time doing things I enjoy, instead of being inside all day sulking in bed.
