Building Basketball Courts at Patelco Sports Complex off Bernal Ave

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

The addition of basketball courts to the Patelco Sports Complex on 7001 Pleasanton Ave would greatly benefit our community. We do not have any adequate, safe, and lively basketball courts within our city. It is a low-cost project, in comparison to the $16.2 million overall cost for the sports complex. Moreover, basketball helps the youth build many important life skills such as cooperation and hard work.

The success of basketball courts can be seen in our neighboring cities such as Dublin, San Ramon, and Danville; now statistically the fastest growing sport in the world, there is no reason why our great city should not have similar courts for our youth to enjoy the sport of basketball.

I've had dialogue with the Parks and Recreation Committee and the City Council in attempts to move forward with this project. Designated zoning already exists for building basketball courts, and its now our job to show that our community needs it. Please sign this petition and share it with your family, friends, and community members!
