Oregon has had left turn blinking yellow lights for years at stoplight controlled intersections. Our community's beginning to see them, at Geary and Pleasant Hill Road and at Golf Club Road @ DVC.
Let's make sure they are implemented everywhere they are applicable to save unnecessary waits at red left turn lights, when it's perfectly safe to proceed.
They're lawful, sensible and useful at reducing traffic congestion. Let's make sure existing turn signals get updated to the more efficient systems now.
