0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
After serving 25 years in State custody, Mr. Julius Campbell has demonstrated his readiness to make a successful transition back into society. He currently serves as a liaison in Philips State Prison to prepare inmates to be released by empowering them to be outstanding citizens and disciplined men through mentoring and biblical principles. He has instilled in many to have vision and purpose to accomplish the daily task of integrating within the community of which they will live and work.
The 2017 New Orleans Theological College graduate have founded and spearheaded various Faith and Character Based programs in many of the correctional facilities where he has served time. In recent months, he has passed the torch by training and preparing other men to continue the positive work that he started after his impending release.
Upon his release, Mr. Campbell has plans to reach, teach, and train citizens in the community where he will reside. As board members, we know that the decision to grant parole is not easy, but we hope that your board will see that he is ready to enter back into society.
Julius will reside with his mother and step-father who are both committed to helping him become a productive citizen in the community. He has two job/career offers that will financially sustain him and eliminate any concern for becoming a repeat offender statistically. Also, as a condition of parole he is committed to utilizing resources such as transitional housing and volunteering his time to give back to the community by empowering youth, the homeless and those that are less fortunate.
We, the people are humbly asking your pardon of Julius Campbell when he comes up for parole in June 2018.
