Kids, both able bodied and disabled need to learn that it's ok to be different, often a child with a disability will be bullied in school or on the street, but if play mobile made more characters with disabilities, kids will learn from an early age that a wheelchair isn't just for old people. It's time the stigma of having a disability was removed and playmobil could make a big difference for the future

It is interesting that I have had to find specialist toy makers to buy toys for children with special needs, as I have done for my Downs Syndrome niece, clearly there is a market for such toys - which, after all are to aid learning and develop a child's experience of the world - maybe Lego's model of the world is everyone is the same, and doesn't need to make more money - it'll be the first corporation in history if that is the case! Come on Lego, get with the programme and do the right thing, you're a toy maker, so make them for everyone.

I supported your campaign initially, but I've become a wee bit uncomfortable with the approach you are taking. Sorry, but the communication style with the companies you are trying to convince feels a bit unnecessarily confrontational.
