I'm pretty sure that we all know why plastic is harmful and why people are trying to eradicate its usage. If we talk about the Ocean Cleanup projects, beach plastic recycling programs or any well-meaning ocean plastic company was a 100% successful, but it was too little. 

We keep saying that the government should do 'something' about these problems, but we never say 'what'! We're tending to produce over 300 million tons of plastic this year. Roughly 8 million tons of plastic is currently floating on the ocean bodies. Plastic does not dissolve; it remains in the water thereby hampering its purity. 

Plastic is affecting the whole Earth, including mankind, wildlife and aquatic life. It is spreading like a disease which has no cure. We all must realize the harmful impact it has on our lives so, as to avert it as soon as possible. 

Most importantly, the plastic litter in the water is mistaken for food by the aquatic animals. They eat it and die eventually. For instance, a dolphin died due to a plastic ring stuck in its mouth. It couldn't open its mouth due to that and died of starvation. Thus, we see how innocent animals are dying because of plastic pollution. 

In short, we see how plastic pollution is ruining everyone's lifw on Earth. we must take major steps to prevent it. 

Let's get up, stop talking and start doing!
