Ask the UK gov. to ban all Teabags containing plastics & other non-biodegradable materials

Big changes are happening!

Thanks to everyone who has signed so far, and please do keep them coming! Whilst there's still some ways to go in the big picture, our calls have been heard, and PG Tips has announced they are officially switching their entire tea range to "100% renewable and biodegradable" teabags by the end of 2018!!! The good news doesn't stop there either. The Co-Op, who sells 367m teabags a year are aiming to switch their own-brand fairtrade tea to biodegradable teabags by the end of the year also! Now we are hoping to take this to the next level. We are now asking Michael Gove (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of the United Kingdom) to ban the manufacture and sale of non-biodegradable teabags in the UK by the end of 2019. Again, thank you all so much for signing up, a difference has already been achieved, but let's see if we can make this national. Please sign up if you haven't already, and share, as that's the only way we'll get them to listen!
