Unfortunately right before the school year started, a beloved student, McKenna Brown took her own life. She was known and loved by many. She stayed on top of her class work and was an A student. She never failed to put a smile on the faces of other students. She participated in extracurriculars and played on the hockey team. 

The school has done absolutely nothing to honor her, and so far, has not even put out a message about it. Planting a small tree professionally only costs $150-300. There is more than enough room either in the student parking lot or next to the gym. The engineering department can easily CNC her a plaque. 

As the student body, let’s make sure her name isn’t forgotten at ELHS!
