Elaine Hayward started this petition to Planningapplications@wirral.gov.uk

We are trying to save 2 tree copses off Lever Causeway in Bebington by applying for a Tree Preservation Order. The house builders Taylor Wimpey have a vested interest in this land and as a result they have objected to the trees being protected. Please sign this petition to stop these trees being destroyed.

We, the undersigned, agree that the trees on the land to the rear of 41-45 Stanley Avenue and situated adjacent to Mount Road and SE of 1 Stanley Avenue should be permanently protected under Wirral Council’s Tree Preservation Order  no 390 for the following reasons:-

These trees have ecological importance and provide natural habitat for local wildlife.

The trees bring significant amenity benefit to the local area and the areas have high landscape value.

The trees are an important feature enhancing the views into and out of the Mountwood Conservation Area
