Change destructive planning policies

Change destructive planning policies
Why this petition matters
I urge Braintree's MP James Cleverly to interject, get planning policy changed-the absence of an agreed town plan should NOT mean developers can build what they like, where they like. The town plan should still be used as guide for the local planning panel to agree or refuse sites for development.
Stop the government planning inspector unjustly overturning councils decisions to continuously favour developers.
Braintree town is being swamped by a huge number of small housing developments. Greedy land owners and developers are taking advantage of our poor planning regulations.
Our town plan has been rejected by the planning inspectorate (This is just one person)! In the absence of a town plan developers can build practically anything anywhere they want regardless of local opposition or the council refusing permission because it breaks basic planning regulations; e.g ribbon development. Upon appeal the inspectorate repeatedly overturns the planning panels refusals with no reasons given, leaving locals and the council dumbfounded. Our town is being ruined by these developments, countryside destroyed, infrastructure needs blatantly ignored by the inspectorate. This must stop.
We need more houses but we need a clear plan to do this well with the correct infrastructure. The inspectorate should be mindful and respectful and helpful in this endeavour, not failing us by allowing builds that blatantly go against our future needs.
