PLANNING DECISION DEFERRED - FOR NOW

The Planning committee met on Tuesday evening August 28th and voted to defer the decision 12:2 with one abstention. This will give us just under one month to continue to object to this proposal and form a plan of action. The Company who want to build this track are saying the proposals were ‘widely publicised’ - they were not. Nothing was mentioned at all about this at the Battle of Bosworth reenactment weekend on August at the Bosworth Visitor and Heritage Centre. It was only made public on August 22nd. The plans were originally submitted in May.The Company who want to build this are continually increasing the quoted number of jobs that will be made which is probably an unrealistic estimate.
