Kelley ARNOLD started this petition to Planning Development (PD 98-0503 KCAC) and

Keystone community has received notice that a petition has been applied for, to build a Temple on property located at the northwest corner of Gunn Highway and North Mobley Road. Zoning Petition number : MM21-0227. The land owner wants to build a Temple at this corner.

If you are residents in keystone community, you already experience the major traffic delays on Gunn Highway. If a Church is built in this location, it will cause more than  50% increase in traffic delays on Gunn Highway. When school starts again, Traffic will be even worse. This will call cause a safety issue in our small community. The kids commute to school by foot or bike is a major safety concern.

If you drive by the specific location of land, You will notice that our community is small and the residence here would like to keep it more rural. Not only will this new temple be an eye sore to our community because it doesn't  fit into our communities look and desire to maintain. It will attract more people who do not live here in Keystone. Therefore causing more traffic, more delays to get to work and arrive kids to school on time.

Not only will this temple be built in the location where the community was promised a community center, but it is zoned for a school not a temple. This development of this temple will not benefit our community as a whole. It would actually make our community worse and more dangerous than we could ever imagine.

I encourage you to sign this petition to stop the building of any church or temple on the corner of Gunn Highway. Lets push to have the land zoned back to only housing to prevent the drastic change it will cause to our community.
