With the new development of the park in price close it has come to my attention that the town has approved the base of the playground to be cedar mulch AKA wood chips. If any of the families in Carstairs that have little children they will be playing at this park. My concern is that the children are going to be wearing flip-flops or sandals in the summer months to come and will be playing on this park and potentially getting hurt. I would like to start this petition to see if the town will get rid of the wood chips and put either rubber pallets or Pebbles strictly for the safety of the children. I would appreciate your support in my petition to change the way the playground to set up. We already pay high property taxes, let's make this right for the kids.
