Promote Mithila Culture by renaming Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Darbhanga Pawan Express to LTT Vidyapati Express

We as a maithil believe the most significant train connecting our ‘KarmaBhoomi’ to our ‘JanmaBhoomi’ should be named after the most prominent Mithila Poet,Vidyapati’s name considering the huge impact ,he has in our language.

We have done little justice to his unbelievable talent ,and his contributions towards our beautiful Maithil language often goes unnoticed. A journey from Mumbai to Darbhanga is laden with myriads of mithila memories and anecdotes and is inundated with Mithila Speakers. Timing of the train is convenient as well and considering the significance of this train in Mithila Speaker’s life,we would request you to give it a name with which we all can relate proudly.

Vidyapati’s heroics are known,and is important to pass his stupendous work to our younger generations and none better than renaming Pawan Express to Vidyapati express as this ,not only will fuel the curiosity but also restore the sense of pride in maithil speakers.

As Indian Railways,thanks to its swanky coaches and punctuality is becoming the preferred mode of travel even for Elites,this will spread awareness about Mithila Language and mithila region as whole.

As vidyapati was born in Madhubani and Madhubani being epicentre of Mithila Painting,the move will even bolster tourism activities in Madhubani ,doubling the joy of Mithila.

Just like we have Konark Express after famous Konark Temple,Golden Temple Express after golden temple or Bihar Sampark Kranti named our state,we would request you to name Pawan Express after our Most illustrious Poet,Vidyapati as this not only will  bring a smile to millions who travel every year by this train but also will provide a much needed boost to the Mithila Culture and language and enhance the overall experience of railway passengers
