There’s a petition going around to exempt all Pittsburgh Public School students from taking the midterms. That’s about 54 schools & almost 20,000 students that won’t have to take midterms this 2020-2021 school year. This is completely unfair to every student that is not in a Pittsburgh Public School. Other students are working tirelessly to study and prep for a week of exams, while they don’t have to. Yes, PPS is online right now which may make it difficult to learn and do exams, but one major thing this pandemic has taught us, is how to adapt to certain situations, including online learning. Yes it may be a struggle, but so is everything else in life and they need to push through just like every other student is doing right now.
