I don't like the way this has come together and the impact it will have on Pitt Meadows.

I am signing this petition because Pitt Meadows is an awesome place to live with all the natural outdoors surrounding the community. I have enjoyed living here for 28 years. I strongly, strongly oppose the CP rail expansion with all of the additional hazards it will bring to our community. The residents of Pitt Meadows are already exposed to enough pollution by CP rail. The health and welfare of all us is vital.

I am signing this petition as I now live in Pitt Meadows. I would not be living here if I knew what CP was planning to do. This little quaint city should stay this way. We already have the noise of the trains going by my back door. Port Coquitlam which is 10 minutes away has all the trains and warehouses why move them here. I strongly oppose CP plans!!!!

I don't want to see the underpasses/overpasses built - they are going to destroy the 'small town' feel of Pitt Meadows, will greatly reduce the green space of Hoffman Park, displace heritage buildings, make it difficult to retain the walk-about factor of Pitt Meadows that I love so much (I am afraid of heights, so would be unable to walk over the overpass...

We moved to Pitt Meadows over 6 years ago and have found it to be peaceful and while we would love to have a solution to the train delays on Harris road, I am totally against expanding the tracks and facilities. The land will never be revitalized once it is harmed, and the short-term jobs are not worth the many risks and potential disasters from business done by companies far removed from us.

I understand growth is necessary, but in the last few years the traffic and pollution has grown too much in too short a time in our quaint community
