In 2007 Michael Vick was sent to federal prison for funding a dog fighting ring on his Virginia property and lying about it. Court papers revealed gruesome details about Vick's dogfighting operation, including the execution of underperforming dogs by electrocution, drowning, hanging and other means. Vick did not serve a single day in prison for animal abuse. He served 18 months for "financing a dogfighting ring". Cruelty to animals charges were dropped. After that he was released to spend the last 2 months of his sentence confined to his luxury home in Virginia. Andy Reid wants to bring notorious dog fighter Michael Vick into the Chiefs Kingdom as a coaching intern for the 2017/2018 season. Chiefs management and Andy Reid need to realize that Michael Vick is bad for business and bad for Kansas City and rescind the coaching internship. Is this the role model we want for our young people in this country? The Chiefs need to send Michael Vick packing or risk losing a lot of dog-loving fans. He has no place here.
