We are DAYS from beginning a new school year and we need to protect the current return to school plans that allows for ALL to chose what is right for their family!! Keeping masks and any other PPE a choice for all families!  As parents we have taken on the responsibility to raise our children and to have a school board tell us what medical choices we HAVE to make for them is unacceptable.  The school board should be concerned with providing the best possible environment for our students to thrive.  For some that may be wearing masks to prevent viral infection, for others it may be not wearing a mask to allow for proper breathing and cognitive function.  As we saw last year, a one size fits all medical mandate for an entire school district will continue to inhibit students ability to learn properly and create an environment of stress for both teachers and students.  Please remember that WE are the parents and they are OUR responsibility.
