From a student myself at Pine grove middle school the only break we get is lunch. At lunch we need to socialize a bit, but we can’t  do that if we can’t sit next to our friends socialize at all in the 30 minutes we get to eat and have a little fun in lunch. Because of the way phones have developed, they have become an extension of us, allowing us to socialize, gain information, and communicate to other people. Allowing our students to have phones during school or even just at lunch gives students the ability to connect again and actually socialize.

And for the seating charts at lunch, Assigned seating is making us trying to fit in or feeling left out, from feeling uncomfortable with people near us that we aren’t friends with or even know at all.
We should sit anywhere
 I think most people in our lunchroom would like to sit by people that they like. Many people are sitting by people who bully them or annoy them, And it will soon cause many more problems in the lunchroom and probably fights also.

We sit in assign seats all day at school. Lunch is one of the only times to socialize as a social creature we should be able to socialize. Lunch is one of the only freedoms students get in the 8 hours we stay in school.
