A moratorium needs to be placed on building in Pinal County. Long time residents, farmers & ranchers are suffering the consequences of residential building developers moving into rural Pinal County. 

Lack of water is the biggest issue, it has been an issue for years. The farmers are being effected greatly because they can not continue to grow crops with the water cuts they are getting. Since the farmers have to greatly reduce their crops, ranchers can not afford to continue ranching if they can not get the hay & grain to feed their livestock. Long time residents that live in rural areas are being forced to sell their property or change their lifestyle to an urban lifestyle because of the building all around us. If we do not have enough water to sustain the farmers & ranchers that have been here for over 100 years, we certainly do not have enough water to sustain thousands of new homes & residents in all of the new developments.

Traffic is another major issue. Some of the areas slotted for developments to not have the infrastructure to handle this traffic, in some places, there is only one road in or out of the area which makes it difficult even for emergency vehicles to get to someone in need.
