I am concerned that the reasoning proposal seems to be designed to accommodate the desires of a single business entity or developed without concern for them impact on the neighborhood. A massive apartment or condo complex with a business on the ground floor does not reflect the nature of Piedmont and certainly does not function as a "gateway" to the town. Additionally, the lack of any consideration of the terrible parking situation on Wildwood is a slap in the face to the residents.

One of my main concerns is adequate parking. As I walked down Wildwood today and noticed employees of current businesses on Grand parking their cars, it occurred to me that I focused on adequate parking for residents and patrons of the proposed development, but that employees will need parking, too. I do not believe that Wildwood area residents should have to subsidize this parking because providing parking will not satisfy the developer's personal financial goals.

The traffic problem and parking problem on Grand Ave at Ace and the Church and ballet school is dangerous

These changes are not serving the best interest of its residents.

Parking is already very difficult in the center of town and will only get worse with these changes. People need to understand the impact of overcommercialization. Who is making money here. Not the residents impacted by these proposed changes.

Piedmont is not the right place for height or high-density building.

Strongly oppose a massive structure on the corner of Wildwood and Grand.

I do not want the feel of the neighborhood to change so drastically. I'm concerned about less open space as well as the impact on parking for residents.
