Photoshop Ain't Real is a campaign that was created in order to promote and generate awareness in terms of the Fashion Industry affecting teen mental health.

Yes, Australia has the Voluntary Industry Code of Conduct in place but the question is why is it 'voluntary'? Why isn't it legislated? To read more feel free to click here
The power of media in relation the clothing sizes, models and retouching on images has definitely highlighted the what is considered perfect and beautiful in the publics eye.

Yes, we have seen changes being made here and there with more plus size range and models but the questions here is why is it still a problem?

Young teens shouldn't feel like need to be pressured into looking perfect by fabricated images shown on media and the idealistic body image.

My aim here is to take action.

I want children as young as the age of 8 to be educated about:
• Healthy body image
• Influence of media
• Influence of other people

I want stricter laws to be implemented in the Fashion industry. France did it! Why can't we?!
