In the past months, the living conditions at PHK have been relatively difficult. While we were aware of the construction, we were not prepared for the constant drilling starting at 7am every weekday. Moreover, there have been multiple problems with electricity, heating, and water. We went without hot water for up to three days, and this has happened often since the beginning of October. The heating rarely works and we are often locked out of our buildings due to problems with the locks. Finally, we have a flooding problem in the common room. This is simply a short summary of everything that has been happening at PHK. Therefore, considering all those problems and DeKey's extremely slow response/help, we would like to negotiate a rent reduction for all students living in PHK.
