Raise the national minimum wage to equal the national living wage

We want to raise the national minimum wage in the UK to equal the national living wage. We feel it is important that people living on the minimum wage have enough of an opportunity to make a living for themselves by ensuring they earn enough to afford essentials and be able to live in comfortable conditions.
Especially young people have move out of home at an early age, living on jobs that pay minimum wage should have an equal opportunity at making a living without having to live in unsuitable conditions due to the fact that they cannot afford to. By raising the minimum wage it would increase their chances at living a more comfortable life when they move out and do not necessarily have access to funds to help them out. Once a person reaches above the age of 18, at which they no longer have to be in education, raise the minimum wage from £5.60 to the national living wage of £8.45.
