On September 18, 2013 drunk off duty Philadelphia police officer Thomas Winkis killed David Farries when his car t-boned David's van. He died a few days later in the hospital.
From the reports of the ABC News Channel the east-est traffic on Ashburner had a flashing red light. Witnesses said the Winkiss vehicle was driving at a very high rate of speed.
As of today not charges have been filed and we all know how these incidents seem to get swept under the rug when a police officer commits a crime. Anyone else would be behind bars waiting for trial.
We want justice for David and his family and we will not rest until Officer Winkis is behind bars.
David Farries grew up in Kensington and leaves behind four daughters and seven grandchildren. They say he was the ultimate caregiver who took care of everybody in his life.
