Demand an Equitable Vaccination Plan from Philadelphia Department of Public Health NOW

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

We demand an equitable plan that provides equal access to registration and vaccination for all Philadelphians from the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH) regardless of a person’s race, ethnicity, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, education level, income, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, or disability. The plan has to address the disparities, which exists for those who do not have digital access, have limited digital literacy, and who do not speak English as a first language.

The plan must provide multiple methods for registration and offer easy access for those who have difficulty traveling.

It is unacceptable that the City’s registration portal is not accessible to all languages.

About the Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC):

Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC) was originally founded to support low-income, limited-English proficient Chinese immigrants, but our mission includes achieving equity for all people of color, low-income residents, and small business owners. With 54 years of experience as a bilingual liaison and advocate for immigrants trying to access predominately-English language government services, PCDC has seen first-hand the importance of providing linguistically and culturally-accessible services to address inequity in low-income, immigrant communities.
