Philadelphia Councilwoman, Cindy Bass is trying to introduce a new bill, known as the Stop and Go Bill, that will endanger the lives of many small business owners. She is forcing small business owners to remove protective bulletproof glass because it is not aesthetically pleasing and paints the City of Philadelphia in a bad light. She is willing to endanger the lives of hard-working, taxpaying Philadelphians just because she feels that bulletproof glass does not belong in her neighborhoods. Bulletproof glass has saved the lives of many small business owners and without it, in the City of Philadelphia, with one the highest homicide rates in the country, AKA "Kill-Adelphia", many more lives will be lost.
The article below is proof enough that it has prevented a crime from occurring. Without bulletproof glass, many hardworking families safety will be jeopardized.
