I'm signing in support of my friends with children in PGCPS schools and because I hope this issue is solved before my son joins PGCPS for kindergarten.

All 3 of my adult children went through PG county schools and I worked for the schools. There has been problems with buses being late. I think they don’t have enough drivers because they probably don’t pay well. As a special education assistant, I know my pay wasn’t great.

Children need reliable transportation to school, not being left out in the cold not knowing if the bus is going to come.

I'm signing this petition because student safety and student learning is not being considered

Attendance affects school's ratings. If we want high ratings, we need to have a transportation system that is more efficient.

The morning bus doesn’t always show up. And the afternoon bus is sometimes over an hour late. The Department of Transportation doesn’t respond to complaints.

My daughter was marked tardy yesterday, after getting to school on a PGCPS bus that was late.

I see kids waiting for the bus long after school has started in our neighborhood. If it weren't creepy, I'd offer to drive them myself, but I shouldn't have to. Fully fund a budget that adequately provides for school transportation.
