At question are the ethics of writer Justin Adam Brown and editors Haase and Spohr in their decision to allow such a story to be printed in the paper, published on its website, where it remains to this day.
Mr. Brown, Ms. Haase, Mr. Spohr, and Civitas Media should apologize for their unethical actions, and all employees of The Weekender and related publications should undergo training on and swear to uphold the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists as a condition of their employment or engagement as writers.
