Today representatives from the UMD Student Association along with other students met with landlords and representatives from the city of Duluth, the Duluth Police Department and the president of the Duluth Landlord's association regarding the increased enforcement on "front-lawn" parking that would negatively affect students. Although no concrete decisions have been made, this was a good conversation. The city of Duluth assured us that they would notify the UMD Student Association before issuing any tickets with a monetary fine. If you receive a ticket with a fine, please let us know.
