Dear GMA Network,

We have patronized your network through generations. And we fully understand that being a Kapuso means that we belong to a community that cares for one another, stands up for what's right, fights for justice regardless of social stratification, and keeps every person accountable.

However, we are floored by the recent news circulating that Bong Revilla, the plunderer who danced his way back to the senate, is being given a platform by your good network by starring in Agimat ng Agila.

Being a major network in the Philippines, you are carrying a great deal of responsibility by screening your artists. We believe that public figures who deserve such a break should be leading lives worthy of emulation especially for our children.

This thief of a senator has been asked to return P124.5 million to the Philippine Treasury but has not done so- all that without remorse. You are sending the wrong message to the people that it is okay to steal from the poor people you wish to serve. This very message denigrates and vilifies your message of genuine service.

Bong Revilla has no place in the Philippine television catering the people he betrayed. Bong Revilla must instead dedicate his time trying to be a good senator because he sure has a lot to prove to his constituents.

We assert as your consumers our choice to not let Bong Revilla portray any role that will provide him with a bigger voice and a larger platform for he has committed wrongful acts, and has not repented justifiably.

We are counting on your integrity to your promise of honorable work.

REMOVE BONG REVILLA FROM YOUR ROSTER. Or we will be forced to boycott GMA Network as a whole.
