The dinosaurs of Alpena Michigan fear the transparency of legal marijuana sales from a regulated dispensary, and would rather have it sold on the streets instead. Their argument is that the establishment is too close to a residential neighborhood, and could be dangerous for children. Nevermind the bars or liquor stores. Those are fine. But we can't have degenerates coming in from who knows where to buy pot near our kids! 

Let's face the facts, this city needs money. The tax dollars from dispensaries could help clean up the blight plaguing our streets! Fix dilapidated buildings, revamp aging parks and play equipment, and beautify our community. 

It's time for the next generation to bring life back to this town.
