Many families in Garner are unable to use our wonderful parks due to inaccessibility. This includes a variety individuals such as parents or children who utilize mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and braces. It also includes those with autism who often put items (such as wood chips) in their mouths and need a fenced in area to play for safety. Many families need larger changing tables in bathrooms for their loved ones. 
Public parks are a wonderful asset to our community and there should be something available for people of all abilities to utilize.
