Why this petition matters

I am starting this petition in the hopes of undoing the abomination that was the ending of the TV show "How I Met Your Mother".  I know this show ended in 2014 but, to be honest, every time I think about how they ended the show I get angry, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.  

*SPOILER ALERTS AHEAD, IF YOU KEEP READING THAT'S ON YOU*

To be clear, this has been my favorite TV show of all time (except for the last episode) since it came out, but Ted never should have ended up with Robin.  They clearly didn't work out before for a reason.  And killing off the mother was just plain cruel. 

For that reason, I'm petitioning to the creators of the show to delete the last episode, and re-do it with an ending that doesn't suck and actually gives the show the ending it deserves.
