Retain or Replace the elevated replica mining trestle (locally called a gantry) to serve as a pedestrian access between the #2 South Great Eastern Mine shaft and the stamper battery in the main museum site. The reason for this request is that the Gympie & District Historical Society Inc have been prevented from maintaining the structure for the last 4 years.
