Petition To Grant Public Access To Sex Offender Registries

Canada has a National Sex Offender Registry, which Police use after an incident to locate potential suspects.  The current policy of only granting police access to this data, makes it a reactive system.

We believe public access to this data will make our communities safer, and lower the instances of sexual assaults.  This data would be greatly beneficial to people investing their life savings in a home, trick-or-treaters, landlords, employers, schools, community groups that provide safe havens, and youth organizations that canvass door-to-door.

I would like full public access to all of Canada's sex offender registries.
