Dear UCLA Department of Neuroscience,

We, the undersigned students of class NS102, are writing to request that our class be curved. We feel that the current grading system is not accurately reflecting our individual performances and abilities, and a curve would help to level the playing field and provide a more fair assessment of our knowledge and skills.

Currently, the class is graded on a strict percentage basis, with a passing grade set at 70%. However, this grading system does not take into account the difficulty of the material or the individual efforts of each student. As a result, many of us are struggling to pass the class despite putting in significant time and effort.

We believe that implementing a curve would better reflect our individual performances and provide a more accurate assessment of our knowledge and skills. A curve would also incentivize students to study and work hard, knowing that their efforts will be fairly recognized.

We, the undersigned students of class NS102, respectfully request that our class be curved to provide a more fair and accurate assessment of our individual performances.
