Skateboarding has been a passion of mine for years. That is why I want to share my love of the sport with Saint Marys. I also have noticed over the years kids have no where else to goof around on their bikes, scooters, or skateboards. With no where safe to go children are forced to ride their bikes around on dangerous roads or even trespass in places like the parking garage. In my opinion that is unacceptable. This is why I started getting signatures. This petition is to show City Manager, Joe Fleming that the people of Saint Marys want a place park that will be done right and managed better.

My general idea would be for it to either mirror the park in Kane, Ridgeway, or the more preferred option of having a park experienced company help design and build. If this does receive approval I will continue to collect community feedback as to what everyone would want from the park.

In order for my idea to even be considered I need to reach 2,000 signatures. I will need help from the whole community to spread the word, share the link, and have as many family and friends as you can get to sign this.
