Petition to bring First Nations Experience channel back!

Osiyo (Hello),

There are many black channels, white channels, asian channels and hispanic channels but there was only one Native American channel. FNX (First Nations Experience) was that channel.

In April KLCS owned and operated by the Los Angeles Unified School District removed FNX from their channel lineup.

We the people of the first nations, subscribers and viewers petition to have FNX as a dedicated channel lineup on PBS and Charter/Spectrum.

Due to events many years ago created by the U.S.  Government many Native Americans have been detached from their culture, their customs and their tribes.

First Nations Experience is very important to many as a way to remain informed on current events in their tribes even though they may not reside in the same state. To learn the plight that their ancestors went through, and that the tribes continue to go through. A way for many that have been detached to learn their culture, customs, language and regalia (decorative cultural wear) through FNX programming.

I am one such Native American that has been detached from my history. (they do not teach in American schools all the government has done to us).

As first nations everything has been taken from us, please don't let this be taken also.
