Unfortunately, I am saddened by the news of Professor Lindsey Klein, a part time professor at Dean College, being recently let go due to a misunderstood message. If anyone knows Lindsey Klein they know that she is someone who cares deeply for her students and the professional relationships that she forms with them. She would never say anything that would endanger others’ well being. Lindsey has pushed her students to better themselves not only as dancers but as people outside the studio. She has inspired so many dancers to continue their career in the arts. This fall would have been her seventh year being a member of the faculty at Dean College and has a resumé to impress every eye. Lindsey has connections with Disney World and is apart of Norwegian Cruise Lines audition team. The connections that she has are very important for aspiring students and there is no other faculty that offers the same. Please help Lindsey Klein, as she deeply cares about the success of her dancers leaving Dean College’s program. She shapes many dancers into the mindset of a professional performer and honest human. I feel what Lindsey has to offer is far more valuable than a misinterpreted message over COVID-19 symptoms. This a great deal of injustice and we have all said something that has been taken out of context. Please help her and the students of Dean College by singing this petition in hopes of Lindsey Klein being reinstated.
