Nathan, My Son: Petition for Nathan Bacher to Come Home

On Thursday, May 23rd, Nathan was arrested by the Gwinnett County police at 2:38 A.M. and charged with “terroristic threats and acts”, a felony charge with no physical evidence to substantiate the alleged threat.

Nathan attended a private Christian school where he was a victim of bullying.

We, the family, friends and community of Nathan Bacher, are petitioning in support of our son, our brother and community member. We are asking for leniency from the honorable Judge R. Timothy Hamil concerning Nathan’s bail.

Nathan is not a danger to anyone. He has no criminal history or record of harm. He is a beloved son and brother.

We sign this statement as a community of people who know and love Nathan, a young man with a bright future, and a valued member of our community. We want him returned to us; in the comfort of his home surrounded by the love of his family and community.

ልጃችን ኔተን በችር ከእስር እንዲለቀቅና ከቤተሰቡና ከማሕበረሰቡ እንዲቀላቀል የቀረበ አቤቱታ

በሜይ 23፣ ሐሙስ ዕለት ከለሊቱ 2:30 ኔታን በጉንዌት ካውንቲ ፖሊስ ቁጥጥር ሥር ውሏል። ኔተን የታሰረበት ምክንያት በቀረበበት “ሽብር ፈጣሪና ለደኅነት አስጊ” በሚል ክስ ነው። ይሁንና በኔተን ላይ የቀረበው ክስ መሰረት የሌለውና ምንም አይነት ክሱን የሚደግፍ ተጨባጭ ማስረጃም የለም።

ኔተን የሚማርበት ትምህርት ቤት የግልና የክርስቲያን ቢሆንም” በሌሎች ተማሪዎች ስድብና ጉስቁስና (ቡሊ) ተጠቂ ሆናል። ኔታን ሰላማዊ ፣ በቤተሰቡና በማሕበረሰቡ ተወዳጅ የሆነ ልጅ ነው። ኔተንን ከሽብር ፈጣሪነት ድርጊት ወይም ዓላማ ጋር የሚያይዘው አንዳችም ነገር የለም። ኔተን ለማንም ሰው ደህንነት አስጊ አይደለም።

ስለዚህ የኔተን ቤተሰቦች፣ ጓደኞች ፣ ወዳጆችና ማሕበረሰቡ ልጃችን ከእስር እንዲለቀቅና በሰላም ከእኛ ከወገኖቹ እንዲቀላቀል ኩቡር ፍርድ ቤቱንና Judge R. Timothy Hamil በትህትና እንለምናለን::

ኔተን የምንወደው ልጅና መፈታቱን በጉጉት የምንጠብቅ የማሕበረሰቡ አካሎች ፣ የኔተን ወዳጆች ፣ ጓደኞች ፣ ቤተሰቦች ልጃችን ከእስር እንዲፈታ በመጠየቅ ይህን የአቤቱታ ደብዳቤ እንፈርማለን።
