For the longest time in Canada cashiers have had to stand while working for hours, while this isn’t the biggest issue in the world at the moment it’s definitely something that needs to be changed. The worst part about it is that most stores buy these memory foam mats that help you feel less tired while standing but they do next to nothing to support you and a stool/ high chair would be a much better option instead, so I’m asking as a cashier to sign this petition for grocery store owners to have stools for their workers not only will it benefit the cashier but also the customer as well, because it all starts with yourself, how can you expect to give out good customer service if your back and feet are killing you after standing for 7-8 hours honestly it’s not fair and we deserve better.
