For centuries, ballerinas have worn the classical pink tights widely associated with ballet. Men and boys, however, have been limited to wearing black or white tights. With many male dancers today dancing en pointe and challenging gender norms in ballet, it’s time a dancewear company steps up and creates the first ever pair of pink mens’s tights. Today’s male pointe dancers need tights to match their pointe shoes and boys taking ballet class need to know that ballet has no boundaries.

As a male ballet dancer who has always worn pink tights, I am challenging Bloch, Capezio, Body Wrappers, and other dancewear companies to make the world’s first pair of pink ballet tights for men.
