On January 22, 2022, U.S. Representatives Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and Morgan Griffith (R-Va.) and nearly 200 Congressmen sent White House COVID-19 Response Team Coordinator Jeffrey Zeintz a letter urging action to cap nurse agency pay. 

Their letter fails to include fundamental points, including nurse turnover rates, low staffing pay, and a U.S. healthcare system price gouging Americans into $140 billion of medical debt to fund lavish executive pay, which Congress shows little concern about.

We feel that their letter deserves to be addressed from nurses themselves.
