Stop DWP Harassment of a Disabled Family

This petition had 358 supporters

The Sanfords a Disabled family, living an already tough life on benefits, have had their ESA payments removed after a seriously flawed Work Group Assessment carried out by a Maximus (ex Capita) nurse in Birmingham. The Assessment is a pack of lies from beginning to end claiming Mr Sanford is fit for work, thereby ending his claim and all benefits associated with it. This will force the family into poverty.

In reality Mr Sanford, known to the media after a previous Tribunal successfully awarded him greater benefits, has extensive Osteoarthritis after an accident breaking both knees in 2009. He is further diagnosed with PTSD due to childhood abuse, ADHD and in recovery from addiction. He cares for, with multiple reports of his skill and dedication, his six year old son Gabriel who is Autistic.

The DWP, having lost a Tribunal a year ago, work with other agencies to make Mr Sanford's life a misery while he struggles with physical and mental poor health, money and housing worries, and his determination to make his son's life a worthwhile and happy one.

In this latest episode of systematic abuse endorsed and agreed by Theresa May and the new DWP Head Esther McVey Peter's ESA Disability Benefits have been ended after a report by a corrupt nurse Mrs Gill, working on behalf of Maximus who have taken over from Capita, who gave ZERO points in a Work Group Assessment in a Birmingham centre.

Maximus are becoming infamous, much like Capita, for paying immoral money-grabbing health professionals to manipulate reports to move disabled and vulnerable people onto Universal Credit and lower the rates paid.

Mr Sanford's GP and Mental Health therapist are working to pull the report apart to win a further Tribunal against the DWP.
