Campaign for parent and child bays in waveney car parks

I have recently been penalised for parking outside of the bay in a car park that uses the dimensions of the uk minimum requirement sized bay.
After 2 appeals regarding the situation clearly explaining that the spaces are not suffice I had both appeals rejected.
Myself as a mother of 2 I struggle to get my average sized car in a bay where I can not struggle to take my children out of the car or open the door wide enough in some instances to physically exit my car and I have recently researched there are a lot of people in the same situation.
This is unjustified as drivers are being penalised for not being provided with sufficient spaces.
The current legislation states the minimum requirement for a parking bay is 4.8 by 2.4 and this does not provide enough space for the averaged sized car.
I am setting up a campaign for parent and child spaces in waveney district area and I would appreciate your support I have set up this petition to show the need for these bays and get WDC to improve all car parks.
Please sign as this will be crucial in getting our voices heard.
