I'm definitely voting against the Candland Road Committee plan. These same county representatives have been far from transparent in disclosing the name of Dominion's client and what financial incentives were given in the whole Dominion Power Tower debacle, so I would hardly trust them to have our best interests at heart. Whoever controls the purse, has the power...

The civic association has always done the best job for the roads. As a resident of over 25 years this current team has been the best in terms of road maintenance and safety.

I truly believe the Civic Association has the best interest of the entire community at its motivation to serve.

People who don't live on the mountain don't know the mountain. I don't believe someone in Gainesville has any idea what it is like to live on the mountain, and therefore should not be establishing policy that supposedly represents the people who live here.

BRMCA does not need government oversight, we the residents are pleased with the current system.

Keep the control with the BRMCA, but share with the community members the long term plan to address the problems. Last year was difficult and dangerous. Improvements are needed.

Local control of truly local matters generally works best. The current system with BRMCA management is not broken. There is nothing to fix.
