During lockdown 2020 PKC introduced new speed law changes within Perth city centre. While we can understand the intentions of the change, it is highly unappreciated by the majority of residents within the Perthsire area. When the original poll was run, the majority vote was NOT to change the speed limit. No notice was taken of this however and the powers were used to the councils advantage to do what they wanted. 

Cars travel much more efficiently and pollute less at 30mph compared to the new 20 zones. I would like to see these laws reversed as they are not only infuriating for motorists spending longer stuck at traffic lights and stuck in slow traffic, but it is also causing more traffic jams.
