Why this petition matters

Government concentrate on supporting persons and businesses in Urban Areas. The population/people in Rural Areas run thousands of businesses many essential to the well being of the economy of the country. Government are now forgetting food is essential to live yet are inspiring and stimulating farmers and landowners to "rewild" the Countryside. Out of the last 400 years people cleared thousands of acres to grow food and picked the best land to do so.

Planning Policies constantly seek to resist  development in the Countryside because a motor vehicle may be used and then it is argued to be unsustainable.. Government and Councils forget those in the Rural Areas have Human Rights in that they need to use motor vehicles noting that millions of people in the Urban Areas drive millions of miles every year.

In short whilst there is no doubt that there are many brilliant academic brains in Government there are no experienced practically minded persons who have any idea of how to run a business and certainly how food is produced. The only person to show the difficulties is J Clarkson. Does this Government think food can be imported cheaply. ? Do you agree that we are we are being run economically by a bunch of person who have no idea of the reality of the business world and simply are more interested in looking after themselves and their political parties rather than listening to the voters they are supposed to represent where in the minority or not and acting on these concerns. ?
