At the bottom of the estate, off Stephenson Way and near the pond, there is a short cut lots of us use.  It takes walkers into the Rising Sun, people access the pond area from here, families use it to get to the primary schools, as do high school students to get to school.  It gets wet and muddy in winter, to the point where it's impossible to push buggies, people are slipping and risking injury, and everyone's shoes are covered in mud, the kids are dirty even before they get to school. As well as this, as is happening at the moment, every time works access is needed to the trenches, for drainage, or to maintain the path, we've currently got a bobcat and a mini dumper truck back and forth, making it even more of a mud bath, which isn't going to recover until we get a decent spell of very good weather to dry it out.  All we're asking Persimmon to do is link the path along the landscaped area with the bottom of Stephenson Way.  It means we all have good, clean access to the surrounding areas without doubling the length of our walk.  Please listen, Persimmon!
